Design & engineer for new system integrations as per clients’ specifications. Reviewing of drawings by fellow draftsmen and vendors. Providing comments and solutions to achieve accuracy in system integrations, class approvals and clients’ expectations. Plan and control to ensure all works’ process and progress meets clients’ timeline and schedule. Inspect, coordinate and communicate with vendors on deliveries of materials and equipment, ensuring items delivered are correct and on time. Solving all on-site issues and queries with inter-department project team, providing solutions and modifying designs to suit on site. Produce AS BUILT drawings after construction.

Naval System Specialist:Electrical department , Republic of Singapore Navy• Logistics Management - I managed the logistics status of the department. This would require me to procure required items from the Navy’s inventory.• Presentation of electrical projects - Being in a leadership position, I am required to demonstrate good presentation skills as I present my projects to my senior management. • Identification and Troubleshooting of defects - This is an important aspect of my responsibility to be able to quickly identify and resolve any electrical and mechanical defects identified or when it occurs. Good analytical skills would be required to perform this task to ensure that the defects do not affect the operational readiness of the unit.• Project and maintenance scheduling - In framing the job scope for the department, organizational skills were required to effectively schedule the projects and maintenance programs so that they meet the operational needs of the organization.• Administration - I managed the running of the department’s administration and have to report to the senior management on the status, issues and timely forecast of events. In the process, I have acquired writing skills in formal report writing. Being in the 3rd Generation SAF, computer literacy is but one of the skills that the organization expects of us and had trained us for. • Proposals to enhance the department’s efficiency - A lot of attention is placed on improving the working environment so as to achieve greater efficiency as well as to generate cost savings for the organization. In this respect, my team and I were constantly motivated to always seek improvements to better the operational effectiveness of the department as well as to propose new work processes for the betterment of the unit and the organization as a whole. I was also part of the WITS team that achieved the MINDEF excellence award.
