I have followed my passion to make a positive difference in the lives of others by becoming a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist. I graduated from The University of Queensland Australia in 2015 with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours). I am currently a Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and have also been a registered member of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHBC) in 2018-2020. I have specific experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Hearing Impairment, and other developmental disabilities. I have developed my clinical experience working in regional and metropolitan areas of Queensland, as well as abroad in Vancouver, Canada.Across my previous positions, I have worked as a sole speech pathologist within trans- and multi-disciplinary teams, delivering intensive early intervention influenced by the Applied Behaviour Analysis philosophies. I have worked within close teams comprised of Behaviour Consultants/Analysts, Occupational Therapists, Audiologists, Paediatricians, Psychologists, Teachers, and Early Childhood Educators. I have also worked in teams mainly comprised of other speech pathologists. I am eager to share my skills and knowledge within my clinic's community, Jump Start Speech Pathology, where we endeavour to service individuals of all ages, skills, and communication goals!
