Project: Clarence Correctional Centre, Lavadia NSW Value: $780mRole & Company: Safety Administrator (John Holland) Description of Project:John Holland is one of Australia's leading engineering contractors and Principal Contractor on the Clarence Correctional Centre Project. The project involves construction of Australia’s largest state of the art 1700 bed Correctional facility located near Grafton in Northern NSW. The construction involves a workforce of 1300 contractors spread across three sites on 133 hectares.Responsibilities: Not limited to:Provide a strong Safety Administrative role to the project, ensuring confidentiality, documentation is received and electronically filed. Participate and conduct systems auditing, prepare and generate weekly, monthly reports for client and John Holland.Maintain the Safety Management records, including the continual updating of site registers, personal files and all safety documentation.Review people and plant onboarding documentation.Control and maintain the site’s security access passes.Maintain and run reports showing incidents and KPI targets.Provide administartion assistance as required to the John Holland safety & Environmental team, co-workers, client and contractorsAttend the site’s Health Safety & Environmental safety committee meeting taking minutes and distributing across the site.

Project: Pacific Hwy Upgrade – Halfway Creek to Glenugie, NSW Value: $180mRole & Company: Safety Advisor / Administrator (Civil Mining & Construction) Description of Project:Construction of 15km of roadway. The major works consist of the construction of a median separated four-lane dual-carriageway including the construction of twin concrete bridges over Halfway creek and Wells crossing, existing bridge demolition design & construct a heavy vehicle inspection station and facilities in a highly environmental area.Responsibilities: Not limited to: Provide a strong Safety Administrative role to the project, ensuring confidentiality, documentation is received and electronically filed. Participate and conduct systems auditing, prepare and generate weekly, monthly reports for client and CMC.Maintain the Safety Management records, including the continual updating of site registers and all safety documentation.Improve construction efficiency where safety compliance is required onsite. Liaising with the site construction staff to achieve the efficiency goals.Participate in incident investigationsReview, prepare and approve SWMS, work permits, JSEA and Risk Assessments. Complete site and plant inspections and audit sub contractorsHold Inductions, toolbox talks and participate in pre starts Outcomes & Accomplishments Achieved:Actively involved in 7 external system management audits, (RMS. Internal & Federal) with no systems Non-conformances.

Business Support Officer (Clarence valley Council)Description of Employment:Administratively contribute to improving the commercial return on Councils investment in its business activities. (Holiday Parks. saleyard, airports, swimming pools, sports centre, residential and commercial properties through out the Clarence Valley.Responsibilities:Assist in contractor management, preparation of budget reviews and rectification, tenders, negotiation of contracts.Prepare lease agreements, reports, correspondence, agendas and minute taking for various committees.Provide customer service for all enquires on council owned or operated properties.Outcomes & Accomplishments Achieved: Achieved through this challenging role a solid ability to successfully negotiate with all stakeholders. Gained a sound understanding of Local Government operations.
