Reporting to the Regional Managing Director as Channel Lead for the Human Resources Division. I provided specialist HR technical knowledge for on boarding/developing Consultants and organising team Workshops, Employment Law Seminars/HR Director forums and events in partnership with CIPD and CBI.I was also actively involved in the Talent Acquisition of many senior HR appointments and recruitment of HR teams with international/pan european clients covering a diverse range of sectors within Pharmaceutical, IT, FMCG, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Financial Services, SME's and Public Services, whilst undertaking restructure/transformation/change management programmes

I was initially appointed to take the lead on servicing our Public Services division working across all categories of HR recruitment for interim, contract and permanent vacancies.Having successfully developed this business I was asked to grow and expand our Legal Division based out of our Bristol office to cover the South West. Much of this work was within our service model of locums, contract and permanent aligned to all legal disciplines and entailed working on a variety of retained campaigns where Hays were able to offer a bespoke/tailored service with a number of 'added value' services including assessment centres, psychometric profiling, competency interviews/reports.After two years of achieving our business goals I transferred back to Human Resources and was promoted to work in the dedicated Senior Appointments team working in the Thames Valley, where I had the opportunity of liaising/networking with all senior executives, within complex matrix organisations delivering on a wide range of project management activities.

I was headhunted to troubleshoot an exclusive Pan European account which at the time was underperforming.I agreed to commit for 2 years during which time I appointed 'Dedicated onsite Co-ordinators' and other Allied Partners and turned the account around to a level of 'Exceeding all Expectations'. Account worth in excess of £8 million, with over 100,000 employees operating in various operational companies across 175 countries.I was part of the senior strategic management team maximising new opportunities to work with other site locations that had not fully come on line with the programme.Attended country wide senior management strategic review meetings in Europe and was the central point of contact with servicing offices for the provision of light industrial, office/clerical, scientific and engineering staff. In addition to having a dotted line management responsibility into the dedicated ordering centre.As part of Account Management I implemented quarterly review meetings with both client/internal operations to ensure service delivery standards were maintained; provision of financial MI information and proposed further strategic added value services. This also included the management of the recruitment campaign of 200 candidates for the sandwich course across all business divisions.

I was originally recruited in 1988 - 1995 as Executive Manger of the Bristol office.My responsibilities included leading a team of Consultants and providing a first class service to clients and candidates. During which time I was recognised for 'Service of Excellence' and ' Select Service Scheme Awards'. In 1995 - 2000 I was promoted to UK Corporate Accounts Manager at a time when we were launching our new Corporate Accounts function. I was given a target list of potential corporate accounts and was successful in winning a sizeable number of FTSE, 'Pan European and Public Service Clients. I exceeded all targets and was given a high number of share options in recognition of loyalty and value of business won/retained.
