Currentwww.oxfordglobalethics.orgOur Initiative engages across academia, policy, and activism to explore understudied topics in global ethics and human rights. As a community, we are especially committed to amplifying women’s voices through the power of narrative and lived experience. The two flagship projects of the Initiative are the Global Women's Narratives Project, which has university and nonprofit partnerships around the world, and the Oxford Global Workshops, our short courses held at the University of Oxford on current issues across war and peace, democracy, religion, and refugee policy. The workshops include experiential field components and narrative training. Women’s lived experiences are underrepresented in policy and research. Our mission is to amplify women’s voices and experiences through the power of storytelling. Through this archival platform, we engage the personal and collective power of women’s lived experiences to create a database of narratives that storytellers, policymakers, scholars, and advocates can use to affect change.
