In this role the main tasks I performed were to promote and publicise the work of Subsea 7 and involved liaising with press, contractors, design houses and clients.Dealing with designers I ensured all promotional material adhered to branding guidelines and was consistent and accurate in brochures, capability videos and the website.I wrote and sent out press releases, dealing with ensuing media enquiries and arranging comment. I also organised opinion pieces from the Chief Executive Officer for local media and sent in technical articles as features in specialist publications.I wrote for and edited two company newsletters, including a vessel safety monthly and a quarterly global staff newsletter.

I also took part in a number of corporate entertainment events to network and build positive, constructive contractor/client relations.Due to a re-branding exercise I jointly developed style guides and branding guidance with external designers and advised staff on their appropriate usage.I designed, edited and wrote promotional material such as equipment specifications, datasheets, corporate posters and safety campaigns and liaised with teams to acquire project photography and video, and ensure accuracy of text.
