    If you're still reading my Linkedin profile by now let me share a little story of one of my first jobs.For the princely sum of £1/hour I worked on my hands and knees for 8 hours a day during school holidays pulling weeds out from rhubarb crops. Later that summer I was "promoted" to the mushroom compost team which was literally a gut wrenching experience. This gave me a good grounding for understanding what hard work was and set me up with the drive to succeed in my professional career.On occasion I can still be found in our veggie garden pulling weeds and stopping my hands getting soft from endless days of keyboard use.
