My key responsibilities include:Strategic Sustainability Leadership: I assist the development and execution of comprehensive sustainability strategies for the APAC Region. This entails setting clear goals and action plans to promote sustainable travel solutions. I promote more sustainable B2B travel through the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and devise strategies to encourage uptake of more sustainable choices at the individual consumer level through initiatives like Lufthansa Group Green fares. I am also dedicated to fostering internal and external awareness on sustainability across the APAC region, propelling positive change within the travel industry.Regional Coordination: I collaborate closely with all sustainability anchors stationed in each APAC sub-region, ensuring a synchronized and cohesive approach to sustainability initiatives. By coordinating these efforts, we collectively drive sustainability forward across the diverse APAC landscape.Global Alignment: I work in direct partnership with the Sustainability Department at Headquarters to align our regional sustainability initiatives with the broader Group Sustainability agenda.
