  Lynda Abbott worked in Business Management for over 20 years, as Business Manager of a large engineering firm in Arizona and a national marketing and research company, and CEO of a national philanthropic organization. In the 1980s she re-trained in IT Technologies, and came to Dry Creek Vineyard as a consultant in 1994, and officially joined Dry Creek Vineyard staff in 1997.Lynda’s IT efforts at Dry Creek Vineyard include co-authoring wine club software, WineWorks, establishing online invoicing, and development of in-house email blasting long before there was any Vertical Response. She built and maintains two web sites and a blog for the company, as well as the online store. Recently, in a groundbreaking move, Lynda instituted an Amazon-style online customer review system for Dry Creek Vineyard’s wines on the web site and in the online store, and an interactive FAQ forum. Currently, she is working on integrating social networking and media on Dry Creek Vineyard’s web sites.
