Taught students in general, special education, English language learner (ELL) and honors math, science and art classes. Implemented and adapted curriculum to meet students’ diverse cognitive, cultural, racial and behavioral needs. Conducted hands-on labs to facilitate dialog, exploration and understanding of science. Introduced art principles via hands-on projects, including architecture and architecture history. Served on the Budget Development Team and collaborated to develop budgets and make program decisions amid substantial budget cuts. Mentored new teachers. Organized field trips and Family Math Night. Designed an educational tour of downtown Seattle architecture for elementary and middle school students. Created teacher training workshops, featuring integration strategies, architectural design process, analysis and history, and tied curriculum to Washington State essential academic learning requirements (EALRs). Monitored budget. Recruited and trained 20 volunteer architects to serve as guides on 25 yearly tours. Developed an evaluation survey and analyzed findings.• Wrote three winning requests for grants from King County Cultural Education Program, enabling 600 students to take the tour each year
