Lyndal Davies has an extensive background in television production including documentaries, long running television series, commercials, corporate videos, promos and social media inserts. Lyndal started her career as a television news reporter for a leading network in Sydney, Australia. She then moved on to form her first production company “Rock Wallaby Productions” which specialized in creating high end programmes for International clients such as “Animal Planet” and the “Discovery Network”. Over the course of ten years, she created over 150 hours of programming which went to air world wide, including the hugely popular "Shamwari: A Wild Life" which she also presented for Animal Planet International.In 2008 Lyndal was invited to Qatar by His Excellency Mr Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali to create cultural and environmental films for The State National Day Celebrations Organizing Committee (QND). For 5 years, Rock Wallaby Productions worked closely with the State National Day Committee and Al Rayyan Television to produce high quality, accurate and culturally sensitive programming, with the goal of creating an emotive response in viewers and pride in Qatar.In 2012 Lyndal entered into a business partnership with Mr Essa Al Kuwari to set up a permanent company in Qatar - Ayn Al Shaheen Films.Ayn Al Shaheen Films currently employs 16 full-time staff including production managers, producers, directors, fixers, camera operators, camera assistants, sound recordists, editors, media archivists and a graphic artist.Major clients include Qatar Museums, Katara, Msheireb Properties, Al Kass Television, Qatar Television, Al Rayyan Television, Qatar Central Bank, Nuafar and Qatar Financial Centre.
