* Engineered and implemented an $8M PBX rip and replace that consisted of 140 sites.* Designed an IVR network to convert all North American IVR's to one single centralized managed service to save the customer upgrade costs and reduce operations costs. Potential revenue estimates to Nortel: $5M.* Designed and implemented a network for Unified Communications and integrated voice and applications.* Partnered with a 3rd party vendor to create a Mac client that can be used as a SIP based phone on disparate systems* Partnered with a 3rd party vendors to create a web based SIP client for a "headless" solution to be deployed with other standards based solutions and vendors, this solution included IBM's software for kiosks in the airports to connect to agents in a contact center.* Engineered multiple solutions and performed the Implementation/Project Management for American Airlines including their Session Border Controller integration, SIP solutions, VoIP upgrades, IVR migration to SIP and a managed service, Mission Critical site resiliency, UK deployment of Voice Managed Solutions and VoIP upgrade and Lighthouse Trial via Nortel and Microsoft.

Recognized as Subject Matter Expert in Applications and Unified Communications technologies. Provided customer support for the Western Region. Conducted executive briefings and level 3 support for sales account teams. Generated sales for account teams by demonstrating and presenting Applications and Unified Communications solutions and ROI associated with Nortel's solutions.* Educated and trained customer base, sales force and partners on the benefits of Nortel's Application and Unified Communication solutions within the entire Nortel Product Line. * Utilized knowledge of Standards to help create better solutions with 3rd party vendors to better Nortel's own solutions as well as that of the vendors. * Served as liaison between customers and product groups regarding features and product issues. * Prepared budgetary information for customer purchases for hardware and software.* Designed SIP based solutions that integrated Unified Communications to the desktop as well as legacy systems.* Provided technical designs; including analysis, configuration and pricing to meet complex requirements, which helped solve business and technology problems.* Self taught on a broad range of knowledge across voice and data solutions as well as Unified Communications, Session Border Controllers, SIP and IVR.

Maintained a multi-million dollar lab, with responsibilities for ordering new hardware and software, creating and maintaining a budget, configuring and setting up the lab systems as well as monitoring the heating, cooling and circuit usage. I was also the courseware writer, and trainer for the Network Management course. It was a Unix based course so I had to become Unix certified. I would write scripts and monitor the lab systems. I was the team lead in our group responsible for instructing the other 16 instructors on how to work in and with the lab equipment.

Create and maintain an IT budget for the Macintosh and PC systems. * Build and maintain desktop systems for the company.
