I find joy in helping others succeed in business. I combine my passions for business and training with my experience in government contracting, to offer training on how to be a government contractor - as well as executive coaching, in any industry. I have worked in and around federal government contracting my entire career. Most recently, I owned and ran a $27MM government contracting company that provides counterterrorism and security-related services to Federal government clients worldwide, with over $500MM contract backlog. Now, I combine my background in GOVCON and Training to demystify US Federal Government contracting for my clients, making the complex seem simple. Before starting a consulting business in 2023, I was a Founder and the President (2013-2022) of RMGS INC, with more than 130 employees, located around the world, most of whom held security clearances. RMGS was named in Inc Magazine's list of the top fastest-growing private companies in America, in 2013-2017, 2020, and 2021. I also served on the Board of Directors from 2015-2022, where I set strategy, oversaw company management, and increased shareholder value. From 2007 - 2013, I was the Founder and President of LXG Management Company, providing services in the areas of custom training, human resources consulting, bookkeeping, and government contracting support. Under my leadership, the client base grew from 1 to an average of 28 clients per year. As a small business owner, I was responsible for all aspects of the business, from marketing, business development, negotiating agreements, contracting, recruiting, hiring, and more. My expertise is primarily in government contracting, business consulting, executive coaching, custom training design, organizational development initiatives, and Human Resources. I have worked in various organizations, including small private companies, large public companies, government contractors, and both State and local governments. I taught online college courses as an adjunct faculty for two universities. I have a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Baltimore. I've held certifications as both a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Society for Human Resources (SHRM) and as a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) from the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
