Lynda is a founding member and past president of NEWH, Inc. – Washington DC Metropolitan Chapter and she has served as a board member for the majority of the lifespan of the organization. She was a nominee for NEWH’s prestigious Woman of the Year award and was the 2001 and 2015 recipient of the Woman of Excellence award and Joyce Johnson Excellence award. She was presented with the Angel award in 2013. IN 2015, she received the Recognition of Excellence award.
