Our intent was to serve as a placeholder until Organizing For America could become established in our area. Once OFA-Louisiana was on the ground, we folded into that organization.

I helped remove some of the worst mold, mud and oil off of artwork damaged by the Federal Flood of 2005 and Hurricane Katrina. I also helped catalog incoming artwork so that it could be easily found by the art restoration specialists.

In addition to creating my own artwork, I managed and sold artwork for about a dozen local artists. I also located and stocked Fair Trade craft items from cooperatives around the world.
