For several years, Lynda Wright has dedicated herself to educating learners in Texas and North Carolina. Lynda currently leads teachers as assistant principal in a top performing school. Throughout her years in education she was honored to be chosen to serve as district and regional trainer for a variety of technology applications and literacy. As assistant principal, Lynda communicates effectively with district leaders, community members, teachers and students. Lynda's instructional experience includes a variety of student groups including; special education, general education, gifted and talented, and English as a Second Language. Her grade level instruction has included early childhood through eighth grade. To improve student achievement, she collaborates with teachers, reviews assessment data, and plans with the end in mind. This diverse experience allows Lynda to understand the needs of a campus and its stakeholders. Lynda has worked as a district trainer for Google, iPads. Thinking Maps, Smart Board, and School Fusion, Math and Literacy Stations, and Guidelines. After a competitive selection process, she presented many sessions at TCEA and TIA conferences. Lynda also worked for Region 11 as a Texas Literacy Academy Trainer. As Accelerated Summer Academy Principal, Lynda planned and organized students and teacher assignments, teacher workday, STAAR data and testing, and student discipline. She has worked with adults teaching ESL classes to parents in the community. Lynda has a passion for learning that inspires others. She believes strongly in collaboration and working as a team to achieve a common goal. She is a lifelong learner. Through her hard work and cooperative spirit, Lynda has gained the respect of administrators and colleagues. She is hoping to motivate and inspire others to reach their full potential.
