USIP launched the Justice, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (JDEIA) Initiative in 2021 to provide thought and leadership in promotion of JDEI within the field of peacebuilding. My role as a research assistant is to work with Dr. Joseph Sany, Vice President of the Africa Center, to coordinate workshops, produce publications to further the field, and imagine new methods to expand and embed the principles of JDEI at every level of peacebuilding processes.
