As a Satellite Communication Systems Administrator/Technician, I ensured the continued transmission over my system's satellite links by maintaining, configuring and replacing satellite terminal transceiver and network equipment.Over the course of this assignment, I had the opportunity to fully train most inbounds and partially train the rest. Achieved subject matter expert(SME) status on all network equipment and computer systems.Key Achievements :- Executed short-notice repair of electronic systems inside emergency notification systems within 2 hours of outage during increased threat from N. Korea.- Manually imaged 98 Windows 10 PCs while assisting in the imaging of 112 others over 2 nights, contributing to a base PC turnover.- Singlehandedly accomplished integrations between base public address systems and blackberry SMS/Email notification systems while training 3 airmen on the fundamentals of electronics, radios and networking.- Trained 10/15 inbound airmen to completion on network and satellite communication systems.- Constructed and implemented "on the job" training plan for satellite communication systems used for all 18 airmen arrived following implementation.- Revamped work center communications, organization and testing leveraging Microsoft 365 suite.
