Healthcare accessibility is brought to patients home town, thereby offloading local emergency rooms and decreasing wait and travel times for locals.Registered nurses (RN), registered practical nurses (RPN) and medical assistants (MOA/MA) provide on site assessments and connect with a provider through secure virtual servicesFrom 2019 until Nov 2022, during the virtual platform infancy, I comprehensive primary care services and healthcare consulting services.In 2020, after realizing the lack of access to specialty services, I designed and implemented a substance use disorders clinic which included creating training modules, designing patient flow, standardized protocols and training across all clinics. Given the local barriers to access to substance use disorders care, with our nurses on site, we are able to provided consistent care and long-acting solutions such a sublocade for patients that have a difficult time getting to clinic- - for example, due to work/transportation issues.To develop the program, I hosted weekly meetings with the team to review barriers to care. Additionally, I personally host regular staff town halls with on the ground staff for direct teaching and feedback and continually reach out to establish community connections and complement existing community services.

This is a type of therapy that guides people to develop new skills for dealing with difficult thoughts and feelings so that they have less impact over their lives. ACT encourages people to take values-guided, goal-directed steps towards lives that are more full, rich, and meaningful. It is based in behavioral science and is non-religious. We also use other well-established forms of therapeutic counseling.At Coderix, we believe that a crucial aspect of care is establishing a feeling of safety for our patients. In particular, we recognize that women who engage with care often have unique needs that are gender-focused. This includes an exploration of the ways in which opioid use interacts with one’s expected gender roles in society. Furthermore, it involves an exploration of mental health and wellness, experiences of physical and metaphysical pain, and an exploration of experiences in the past that influence a woman’s decision to use opioids.
