As a Talent Acquisition Consultant for Engage Education, the main focus of my role is to identify, interview and select the best teachers from the (UK/Ireland/Canada/Australia) and help them gain teaching positions. I am committed to building strong and long-lasting relationships with our candidates. I specialize in resourcing, interviewing, assisting in the placement of and the relocation process for, teachers moving from around the world to England.Throughout the year, I participate at career fairs, as well as holding information sessions and professional development seminars at local universities.I review individual teacher’s personal skills and qualifications, assisting them to identify their career development needs; whilst liaising between the teacher and selected schools, to ensure the teaching candidate is well matched with the school’s requirements. We provide an informed choice so that schools, teachers and students can unlock their potential. As a qualified teacher, I have a holistic approach to recruitment, focusing on building strong, professional relationships with all teachers.We facilitate teacher placement through our award winning iday event. This allows both domestic and international teachers to interview with multiple schools in one location, on one day, with all travel and expenses covered by Engage Education. I also carry out interview preparation for qualified teachers attending iday; often travelling with them to the UK to attend the event itself.
