As a year-long intern at Carolina Point, a Young Life camp, I engaged in a program comprising three job rotations across camp departments: retail, kitchen, and administration. Throughout these rotations, I acquired a diverse set of skills and gained insight into the operations of a camp property. Some of these skills being communication, adaptability, problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership. Each week, I had the responsibility of managing my department, including training and leading volunteers. This summer, I have the honor of being on the admin team, providing support to all the departments.

• Worked on the development and implementation of new social media plans in order to attract new talent and increase brand awareness• Increased content interactions by 68.4% and engagement by non-followers by 60.7% compared to the previous 2 months• Created and analyzed digital content for various platforms such as Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Facebook• Participated in employee events to gather content for Instagram• Updated and organized organization’s photo storage database

• Joined company event coordinators in planning and promoting the National Conference and was a client facing precipitant for the event• Trained in software programs such as Microsoft applications, Basecamp, and Party Plan Solutions• Responsibilities include communicating with vendors, scheduling, and attending meetings of the planning committee, and organizing and purchasing materials and supplies• Maintained Facebook page to spread recognition and share event information• Collected and organize data for budget and registration reports• Collaborated with the design team on products related to the National Conference and the consultant incentive trip

• Maintained extensive expertise on safety and sanitation both for prevention of sickness and quick response to situations • Managed laundry systems to serve work crew, summer staff, guests and campers • Established and managed organized Lost and Found system • Ensured that inventory levels of all supplies were at levels to meet guest needs • Lead monthly training and supervised volunteer groups • Provided daily cleaning for guest housing
