My research focused on marketing, branding, and service design strategies for small businesses.

As a senior Industrial Design student at Arizona State University, I was one of six industrial design students selected to participate in a interdisciplinary product development team called Innovation Space (http://www.innovationspace.org/). The team is comprised of a graphic design, business student, and engineer all tasked with identifying a product opportunity gap within an assigned demographic. This collaboration ultimately ends in a full new venture business proposal including a market assessment, brand identity, product concept, and manufacturing analysis. Generating a product concept under constraints similar to those a small business would encounter gave me the extra insight and preperation for being a successful designer and Project Manager in my career.
