About Lynette Cooper
I've been working as a medical transcriptionist for 21 years, and I'm interested in a career change to medical coding because I feel that it suits my personality and will give me a new challenge and more opportunity for advancement. My experience lends itself very well to medical coding because of the familiarity I have with medical terminology, diagnoses, procedures, and treatments. I also believe my personality lends itself very well to medical coding because I'm organized, accurate, and detail-oriented in addition to the fact that I actually love to organize and categorize data! I am currently a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders and am enrolled in their course to become a Certified Professional Coder with an estimated completion date of June 2022. I would be a valuable employee, as I'm capable, smart, efficient, and reliable.
