CurrentOperating Room Scheduler, putting together a surgery schedule to run in operating room. 8 operating rooms. Orthopedic, General Surgery, Gynecology, Ear nose throat, Opthamalgic, Spine ,Robot cases, Urology. Special orders, Vendors, Special equipment, machines, and supplies brought in on consignment. Working with physician and Surgeon offices. Notifying patients. Block building in computer programs Mckesson phs and msm. Workorders, engineering, dietary, housekeeping, information technology and information. Add-on and Emergency cases, working with charge nurse for placements and notification. Anesthesia, room placement and call. Staff placement in rooms and equipment. On call notification with hospital nursing supervisor for Pacu, O.R. and GI lab. Monthly reports, down load for facility and corporate. Nurses patient charting auditing, helping with corrections of supplies and o.r. anesthesia and pacu minutes. Supply restocking. Telephones with facility and general public. Scheduling cases that is received per fax, paper delivery or phone from clinics, offices and in house. Trouble shooting as arises situations. Work 40 hrs a week and some overtime. Willing to take extra hours anytime day or night.
