As a Per-Diem Staff Pharmacist at University Hospital, I provide quality pharmaceutical care to patients and support the clinical team in various settings, including infusion therapy, emergency medicine, and critical care. I have over a decade of experience in hospital pharmacy, with a Pharm.D. degree from Hampton University and multiple skills in formulary management, medication errors, and transition of care.Previously, I was a Clinical Pharmacy Manager and a Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator at St. Joseph's Health, where I led and coordinated the pharmacy services for the acute care and ambulatory care departments, as well as the transition of care program. I successfully implemented and evaluated several initiatives to improve medication safety, patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and staff development with budget in focus. I am passionate about advancing the pharmacy practice through education, research, and mentorship, and I have contributed to several publications and presentations in the field.
