In this position I lead the end-to-end sourcing process of sourcing initiatives: from requirements development to RFx development, supplier selection, supplier negotiations, and contract drafting, all in accordance with Corporate Purchasing Policies. I am responsible for working with business stakeholders, procurement management, and legal to frame and develop project objectives, requirements, and the contracting objective prior to supplier engagement. I act as the primary contact with potential suppliers during the RFX, selection, and negotiation process. I lead supplier negotiations throughout RFx and contracting process to achieve optimal savings, value, and risk profile. I prepare and facilitate the progress of procurements through the RFX bid process including contract preparation, contract reviews with functional partners, and coordinates all phases of contract administration with legal up to contract signing and completion.• Implements the sourcing strategy and negotiation and redlining process with the supplier to draft contracts that accurately capture business, technical, and legal requirements (including contractual and purchase order documentation). Acts as liaison with business owner anc supplier during negotiations on simple to medium contracts. I work closely with legal and risk groups to ensure consistent communication and socialization of significant legal and risk issues throughout the negotiation process. I ensures compliance with contractual requirements for Federal Employee Program and other state and local contracts specifically related to MBE/WBE requirements and reporting.• Analyzes and compares service and/or product offerings and specifications, investigates future renewal requirements and options, and resolves contract and invoice discrepancies.

My experience started 8 years ago beginning as a Label Control Inspector. As an Inspector I performed label printing on a Zebra Printer, conducting test, noticed defects, updated database and analyzed products. After 4 years in that position I became interested in the Instrument department of the company. In 2013 I accepted the position of Quality Control Inspector III. In this position I performed incoming, in-process, and final inspection on the Medical Devices that were used for testing in Hospitals or Laboratories. I took pride in every decision I made good/bad or pass/fail when approving the release of Instruments to be packed and shipped out to companies. In 2015 I moved on to the position of Buyer for the Instrument Plant. In this position I was responsible for purchasing raw sheet material that was used in the Instruments. I delivered high-quality customer-oriented service with manufacturing suppliers. My role was to convert MRP requirements to purchase orders, while managing open purchasing orders for raw material or spare parts. I worked on Invoice Processes to resolve payment issues and reviewed and disposition raw material excess and obsoleted inventory.
