Month end/year end accounts, TB reconciliation, FA register, Prepayments and Accruals, Payroll and Financial Reporting and Analysis are some of the many tasks I carry out within my role as Business Manager. I also provide in-depth customer analysis when Sales Account Managers require it. There are on-going profitability projects that I'm currently overseeing alongside my regular tasks and I've recently inserted myself into the Stock processes to make them run more smoothly and correctly.

I was responsible for all Sales and Purchase Ledger transactions, as well as expenses and payroll. I processed the job valuation calculations and processed bank payments to suppliers. I also did the books for a side company of theirs and handed the work over to the accountants for submission for all the income and expenditure the small business incurred.

My main tasks were Bank reconciliations, Credit control, aged debt analysis and reporting, Transport costs analysis and management, purchase ledger and sales ledger all aspects, purchase prepayments, accruals for GRNI and other monthly journals. I was holiday and sickness cover for 5 other roles outwith my own and I managed every one of them with confidence. Being trained in so many roles meant I was the ideal person to be involved in testing and implementing a new system that we switched to as I knew which information was needed from different perspectives. I got on well with everyone in all the departments I worked in and enjoyed the variation I had.
