I am a native of South Carolina and a graduate of both the University of South Carolina and Limestone College with degrees in General Studies and Social Work. I served as the Area Director and Staff Manager for a South Carolina state employment office for over two decades.I have a deep passion for helping others. My work experience, skills and education culminate into a wealth of knowledge that is used to help prepare people looking to find or change careers. This is done by helping people explore career options, prepare for job searches and subsequent placement and really promote self-improvement by teaching them how to improve their overall work ethics and personal development for the workplace.With over 25 years of experience, I have birthed out a lifelong career with an endeavor and a purpose to serve others nationwide. My goal is to provide a resource for job seekers. A few services offered are portfolio preparation, one- on- one job skills development, and custom employment search coaching. In addition to job seekers, I have an equally important goal to serve employers. Through the preparation of job seekers, it’s my mission to refer them to employers in need of job seekers. The turnover rate of employees is high and costs employers hundreds of thousands of dollars. My job is to send them the best qualified individuals to fill the employer’s job vacancies. This is done through assessments, interview preparation, and other training. My company brings the two entities together.I am a warm-hearted person with a highly regarded business acumen and sense of integrity. Establish, set, maintain, present, and distribute agendas and Board meeting material and respond to inquiries from Board members and the public. Responsible for coordinating Board-related meetings as needed and maintaining records of Board actions taken. Serves as contact person for employees and vendors regarding office operations. Manage staff training/development program. Track staff requests pertaining to operations, manage and oversee office services functions including office equipment, supplies and vendors. Supervise Receptionist/Office Assistant. Work approximately 10% - 20% of time from satellite offices. Play leading role in office space management. Serve as purchasing agent for organization.
