United States Marshal Service Intern
Current- Attended court hearings/trials and gained firsthand constitutional knowledge and Criminal Court Procedures within the United States District Court system.
- I conducted investigative warrant research to help locate wanted fugitives and provided intelligence findings to the lead criminal investigator resulting in the successful localizing of wanted fugitive.
- Gained knowledge and experience with prisoner management to include transporting prisoners, application of prisoner restraints, intel gathering regarding prisoner debriefings.
- I became familiarized with prisoner processing procedures, booking requirements and classification of prisoners.
- Participated in and/or observed Deputy Marshal Use of Force training scenarios becoming familiar with officer safety.
- I generated weekly manuscripts to brief USMS management and University professors of my internship progress and learning experiences.
