SENIOR GENERAL ACCOUNTANT | DIRECTED ELECTRONICS | 04/2008 TO PRESENT· In charge of transferring accounting records and protocol for the newly acquired company to parent company.· Perform month end closing process compiling, analyzing and prepare entries to the general ledger. Monitor compliance with GAAP.· Review, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries and reports.· Prepare the reconciliation for complex accounts like fixed assets, royalties, and rebates.· Prepare detailed expense schedules for month-end analysis with CFO.· Work with external auditors for semi and annual audits.
