Aarhus University Hospital

APPlab is an innovation initiative established by Aarhus University Hospital. At APPlab we develop prototypes for mobile applications in collaboration with clinicians. Using prototypes, we help clinicians better understand what they need from a mobile application in their daily work, and together we identify the advantages and disadvantages of different application concepts in a clinical practice.My main task is to assist the APPlab team within the following areas:- Planning and coordination of daily APPlab activities- Mapping of the different development processes- Screening and qualification of ideas from clinicians, students and companies- Preliminary meetings with the clinicians, students and companies- Specification of user needs through field work and the organisation and facilitation of workshops- Development of prototypes- Establishing collaboration between clinicians, students and the private companies, we collaborate with- Advicing clinicians, students and companies on matters related to finance and regulations- Establishing collaboration between us and a wide range of educational institutions in the Central Danish Region.
