I have been sketching designs since my middle school days. It was my 8th grade year when I knew I wanted to take fashion design serious. My sophomore year of high school is when I took the summer to take sewing classes, get my business license, and launch my website (www.lexamariefashions.com). My clothing line consist of custom ready-to-wear pieces for stylish women and a line of street-wear to cater to my men's clientele. I always seek the finish product of my sketches which is why I put so much time in to sewing all of my clothing. Coming from a small city like Wilmington, DE I have gained so much support and now that I am educating myself in NY I am looking forward to making new connections for opportunities for my line to expand.
