I am a passionate researcher who enjoys helping others achieve the best possible outcomes for their own research projects. I believe that high quality research can make a significant difference to a range of areas including educational outcomes, psychological and physical health, and professional practice (just to name a few). If you’re interested in conducting research that will make a difference, then I’d love to connect with you.While I’m originally a quantitative researcher, and am quite comfortable working with numerical data, the majority of the research work I’m now involved with is qualitative or mixed methods. I believe all research approaches have their place in the complex world we live in, and that it is important to select and work with research methods and methodologies that best suit the question at hand.I work with a range of different researchers, primarily from the tertiary sector, from novice researchers through to experienced academics. My role as Director of Academic Consulting is diverse – I teach courses on research methods and data analysis, work one on one with clients on their own research projects, analyse and write up research data, and in amongst all of that, ‘steer the ship’ in terms of the business side of things. As anyone who has worked with me will know, I’m incredibly enthusiastic about research and data analysis software, and am on a constant mission to find ways of working smarter not harder.
