My professional experience includes creating and delivering high-volume, data-driven merchandising strategies as well as hands-on curation and storytelling that small brands thrive on.Throughout my time at Orvis on the Women’s Planning team, I issued and maintained all purchase orders, built strong relationships with international and domestic vendors, and gained comprehensive knowledge about merchandise planning, buying, and allocations at the corporate level. Some key accomplishments from my time at Orvis include: Accountable for buying and managing $6-8M inventory per season, including 400 Purchase Orders of 500 SKUs Delivered $55M in women’s sales Managed relationships with high-profile, third-party vendors such as Barbour, Birkenstock, Kut from the Kloth, and Yeti Successfully partnered with factories in China, Indonesia, India, Portugal, Sri Lanka, Turkey, the UK, and Vietnam to deliver products on time and on budgetPrior to joining Orvis, I was the General Manager at Monkee’s, a high-end women’s boutique located in Kentucky and Florida. The franchise owner trusted me and my eye for merchandising, calling me her “right hand person.” I did all of the merchandising, seasonal flips, and re-allocations for all three locations: Lexington and Louisville, KY and Naples, FL. I loved it.I earned my bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Apparel and Textiles from the University of Kentucky. While I was a student there, I interned with the world-famous Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City. I saw first-hand the difference that quality products and world-class service can make on driving business and customer satisfaction.In my free time, you will find me enjoying the outdoors. I love exploring new areas, hiking, camping, and playing with my two dogs.
