We all have a 10 word biography in us and mine would be - A country girl at heart, beating in the big smoke.My work and ethos bio though has some other characteristics - Rise to the challenge, be genuine, inspire, create, achieve…and one more – repeat.I love to challenge the status quo, am a planner and active list maker and it makes my heart sing when those deeds are done and you can start all over again.I can procrastinate, yes a very virgo tendency, however my mind is weaving its own tapestry of webs, solutions and plans behind the scenes. Then the window of opportunity arises and – bam, off we go.I have a deep and genuine interest in literacy, learning and connecting people to meaningful experiences. Most rewarding is seeing my team and colleagues achieve their full potential, being able to guide and listen, enable and celebrate.I thrive through being curious and creative, yet require a solid foundation and network.
