Senior Business Analyst
Information Sharing for Business - This project's intent was to make it easier for businesses when they interact with government, so they could spend less time on administration and have more time to run their business. Using Agile methods, we built a prototype to support the business customer by enabling them to use and re-use information and data that government holds, making requests for permits and licences easier and more efficient, by joining up services and sharing information that spans multiple government organisations, including local bodies. This project had an estimated project budget of around $1.6 million. Conducted requirements gathering, business analysis, business process mapping (current and future state) and developed business use cases for the prototype. Developed all user stories for the prototype (including story grooming), and acted as product owner when the product owner was absent. Worked closely with the external vendors (Appian and GoCouncil) to deliver the prototype within 8 weeks (including the planning sprint). Demonstrated the prototype to Chief Executives, Deputy Chief Executives, General Managers and staff across multiple government agencies, as well as customers, councils and other external parties.
