I have a track record of interpreting a vision to support the development and execution of the strategies required to manage risk, remove barriers to success and maximize value over a practical time horizon.In recent years, my focus is on the partnering, resourcing, financing, governance and risk management strategies required to support organic growth of First Nations and First Nations owned businesses in a variety of sectors, including renewable energy, civil construction, oil and gas well reclamation, retail and fuel. I am delighted to have led the negotiation and execution of three First Nations full equity partnerships (and related agreements) for two of BC’s and one of Saskatchewan’s renewable energy projects.I am an experienced executive who created the vision and founded Copperleaf Technologies in 2000 and remained as its CEO through to commercial viability. Under my leadership, the company released its enterprise business platform to leading utilities, including BC Hydro, Bonneville Power Administration, Duke Energy, SaskPower, and Manitoba Hydro, and was recognized as the thought leader in its market.
