This position exists to provide direct oversight of clinical supervision and provision of programming development services to youth center behavioral health teams to ensure the statewide development, implementation and monitoring of ongoing assessment and behavioral health treatment services in long-term secure treatment youth centers. Duties include statewide behavioral health policy and programming development and supervision of positions in the central office unit that provide clinical supervision and monitoring and coaching of clinical competencies and behavioral health programming. The position assists the Director of Behavioral Health & Medical Services in oversight with over 100 behavioral health and assessment services professionals and medical staff, including additional contract psychiatry, mental health, dental, and physicians in the absence of the BHMS Director. This position determines the scope of behavioral health programming services to be provided, interprets and formulates relevant standards, establishes appropriate policies, negotiates contracts/agreements, andsupervises staff who provide support and/or technical assistance and training/coaching to the Division in the area of behavioral health programming and clinical supervision.

I work collaboratively with my co-founder and technology specialist to develop web-based software solutions for special education.

This position develops and maintains all clinical programming at this private day school, serving students receiving special education services for emotional and behavioral challenges, as well as other disabilities. The clinical director is responsible for overseeing IEP development, supports the clinical team in providing consultation, and conducts professional development trainings for the multidisciplinary team. The clinical director manages the clinical budget as well as staffing and manages all billing for clinical services, while ensuring complete and accurate record keeping. Running groups, managing crises, and providing individual clinical interventions while maintaining the training program for doctoral level practicum students is also the responsibility of the director. This position also performs administrative tasks such as basic staff oversight, stakeholder meetings, and writing proposals/presenting at conferences.

I provide individual and group therapy to children and adolescents facing emotional and behavioral challenges in a therapeutic school setting. I also serve as one of the school's administrators and provide group supervision to master's and doctoral level trainees.

I work as part of the CBAT Unit which strives to help children and adolescents stabilize and develop coping skills so they can return to the community through individual therapy, group therapy, family work, and case management.
