Manager for Cobalt Park, initially joined Highbridge Business Parks Ltd in 2006 with property management expertise as a site travel planner for the park. The package of measures we have developed on the park has been key in the growth of the park from a 4,000-strong workforce to over 14,0000 in the 10 years in position. My role includes managing a 15 strong onsite team, developing relationships with partners such as inward investments organisations, infrastructure partners, transport operators and organisations, and managing an unrivalled staff benefits package & on-site amenities, all of which aid staff recruitment and retention bespoke to the Park.Over the last 20 years Cobalt has been a key component in the regeneration and economic development of the North East. I like to think I have contributed in some way to Cobalt becoming one of the most successful office Park in the UK, Cobalt is now home to over 20 major occupiers, across multiple sectors: IT, Financial Services, Utilities, Renewables & Public Sector including some of the largest names in the corporate world. My passions and interests remained firmly in commuter transport and creating a modal shift but have developed to include innovation, health and well-being of the workforce believing that Cobalt staff should feel valued and rewarded by supplying world-class facilities, an award-winning public transport network and connections along with a vibrant environment in which to live and work. Cobalt's business network include Business Leaders, HR and FM forums meeting once a quarter to investigate B2B opportunities and working together for common aims.
