Lynn is an experienced energy industry professional with a diverse background that affords her the ability implement holistic solutions based on expertise in concerns specific to the US energy industry, engineering and organizational effectiveness. She joined Georgia Power Company in 2000 after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering. Since then she has served in a variety of roles including responsibilities for distribution system planning, engineering, project management, system reliability engineering, OSHA compliance, development of external partnerships and management of union covered line personnel. Notable projects include: * leading efforts build consistency of capital asset data to facilitate integration of GIS based asset data with Georgia Power's outage management and customer information systems* providing leadership to a departmental functionalization to increase compliance with labor law and build organizational efficiency* management of the integration of Human and Organizational Performance concepts into multiple organizations with a focus on building a world class safety culture through leadership development, implementation of collaborative cross-functional organizational improvement teams, strategic organizational messaging and leverage change management best practices to build sustained cultural improvements Lynn has served as the member chair of the Electric Research Institute’s Human Performance member chair as part of the P62 Serious Injury and Fatality Prevention program and served as Chair of the Southern Company Human Performance Council. She served as the Southern Company lead with the North Atlantic Transmission Forum Human Performance Practices group. Lynn holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering and a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She possesses expertise in ISO 9001 Quality Assurance and is a LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt. She is a Certified Change Management Professional with experience in leadership development, safety culture assessment and organizational change with an emphasis on organizational culture improvement.
