The Life Cycle Management position involves working as a member of a global team. Tasks include:-Product Quality Improvement Projects -Margin Improvement Projects -Product/Component End-Of-Life Projects-work in Agile: ECOs, part number creation, product obsolescence;-keep information on the website up to date and accurate;-balance of proactivity and reactivity. -monitor quality, complaints, and sales-GHS and electronic compliance-Research and help solve customer issues (chemistry, apparatus, matrix)-Assist technical support.-Additionally continue sales, tier three technical support and regulatory support for the Lachat line, as well as support the automated titrator including method development.

In addition to tasks for Applications Chemist/Chemist II and III listed below:- support and actively drive the development of applications for existing products. - key technical expert to identify, develop and support product and technology and applications, and to provide applications expertise to sales team and potential and existing customers.-assist technical support- support regulatory activities, ensuring methods/applications have appropriate certification for use in municipal markets-manage project portfolio, assess requested applications for potential for success, determination of project timelines and estimated costs-write application notes. -track revenue from lab work and interactions with customers that results in sales.-beginning in Q3 2015, began developing titration applications in addition to Flow Injection methods.

Responsibilities included Development of methods for Flow Injection and Ion Chromatography systems. Assessed customer requests for feasibility and time requirements. Assisted Technical Support in solving customer issues. Worked to get acceptance of applicable methods by USEPA (NPDES and NPDWR)..

-Developed methods for Flow Injection and Ion Chromatographic instruments produced by Lachat Instruments. Methods developed for drinking water and waste water, sea/brackish water, surface water, soil extracts, chlor-alkali, feed and fertilizer.- Assessed potential applications for both feasibility and cost of development. -Wrote technical assessments and literature reviews relating to potential applications. –-Assisted customers having technical problems, and obtained information regarding customer applications. -Prepared and submitted method packets to the USEPA for letters of acceptance. (Lachat was moved to Loveland CO. in 2002).

-Designed and implemented experiments relating to the interaction of a microbial polymer with metals. -Developed an inexpensive micro-scale equilibrium dialysis system for pilot studies of these interactions. -Performed Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometric analysis to quantitate metals. Purified the microbial polysaccharide used in this study. -Maintained Cyanobacterial culture collection (about 100 specimens in each of two collections).

-Tutored students in Microbiology and related subjects.-Laboratory set up for students.-Exam proctoring and grading.-Cataloging research materials.-Maintenance of Cyanobacterial culture collection.
