I am collaborative leader who leads a team of really smart strategic thinkers who are committed to finding solutions and developing innovative strategies for our clients in the public, non-profit and corporate sectors. We help clients with strategy, planning, leadership and team development and community and stakeholder engagement. Prior to founding Clarus I worked in both the healthcare and the banking industry. I know the challenges of working inside complex organizational structures and regulated industries. I know how to craft solutions and develop strategies that will address the many different and yet connected organizational challenges faced by complex organizations including, colleges and universities, state and local agencies, non-profits, and closely held businesses. I understand the importance of looking at organizations and their employees from all angles and with a balanced and individualized perspective. I believe people are the most valuable asset of any organization and I help clients see the strengths of their employees and teams and implement programs and strategies that activate engagement, performance and organizational growth. Some say, I am a bit of a personality geek (formally trained to use the Enneagram of Personality, MBTI, Thomas Kilman Conflict Mode Instrument and DISC) and they may be right! However, I believe that strong and highly effective leaders are self-aware AND know how to leverage the strengths of their individual team members will always end up on top. These personality assessments, when deployed effectively in organizations, can bring insights that strengthen teams, improve organizational performance and productivity.
