Manager of a 30 place shopper's creche, responsible for 26 staff. Over 200 children aged 2-9 years attended each week. Booked children in and out of the facility, maintained staff to child ratios. Responsible for staff recruitment, development, training and appraisals. Prepared for Ofsted inspections, adhered to Ofsted regulations and company policies. Organised and hosted 6 beach disco's in the centre's exhibition hall for 120 children and devised a registration and tagging system to ensure the safety of the children. Contributed to the marketing of the creche. Hosted birthday parties and parent and toddler sessions daily. Organised music, dance and arts and crafts sessions.

Supported and trained creche managers across 27 sites located in shopping centre's and Ikea stores around the UK. Ensured every site was compliant with the Health and Safety Law by visiting and equipping staff with the necessary information. Devised an in house training course for staff to complete. Received and went through all risk assessments and annual reviews from all sites and Head Office ensuring each manager had been trained and supported to enable them to produce assessments of a high enough standard to be sent to the insurers. Advised each location where to seek further training locally. Carried out company Health and Safety checks at each site. Regularly liaised with The HSE, Environmental Health and insurers.
