Lynn L. Marshall, MD, graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME with a degree in chemistry and worked as a chemist prior to attending medical school. She attended Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, NH and did her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. As a general internist with nearly 30 years of experience, Dr. Marshall enjoys caring for adults who are trying to prevent developing chronic conditions. Her specialty of internal medicine is most aptly applied when people have chronic conditions that are just being diagnosed or have been managed for many years. Lynn has just been hired by Elevance Health as a Medical Director working in their commercial business division. Prior to this she worked at WorldClinic, a concierge telehealth company for a year. And prior to this, she worked for nearly two decades for the Veterans Administration in White River Junction, VT at the VA Medical Center there. This was a very gratifying and satisfying job, caring for our nation's veterans. She was their Women's Health Medical Director for the last 11 years. In this role she taught Geisel School of Medicine Medical Students and Internal Medicine residents from Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Women's Health, earning nominations for teaching excellence. Prior to this, she worked at New London Hospital in NH, as a general internist working in primary care, emergency medicine, intensive care medicine and nursing home medicine. She even did house calls!Her special interests include musculoskeletal conditions, cardiovascular health and Women’s Health. Outside of work, she enjoys walking with her 14 year old Corgi, Toby, playing the piano, golf and tennis, dinners with friends and family, and traveling with her husband, Rich.
