High voltage batteries are used in vehicles and have been shown to generate "hot spots" that lead to the catastrophic failure of the system. Through this research, these "hot spots" could be detected early and failure events avoided. My work was preliminary in the project, helping to generate the experimental designs, determine how to best analyze and present the data, and using it to parameterize the model we were working with. -
