Almost finalizing my goal. Starting my doctorate degree this year. My experience as a teacher has been very rewarding. I think children are the most straightforward honest citizens you can get. To work with children and teach them something is like laying the foundations on a finely architecture building. They will carry what knowledge you give them well into their future and you will have molded a piece of human nature. This is my second year with Orion and I love it. I have taught Music and Art in Elementary schools. I also have worked in Virginia State schools as an assistant for Spanish, U.S and Government classes.I am currently enrolled in the master’s program in Liberal Arts through Sul Ross State in addition in working with Orion High School and Middle School.My hobbies are photography, writing and doing crafts (mosaic, painting)….I love to cook, so I collect cookbooks. In my spare time I like to play my instruments which include French horn, guitar, violin and harmonica.I live up at the Guadalupe Mountains called Pine Springs, Texas. I love the scenery and the best part is that I get to take a lot of pictures of the landscape. Some of my pictures are seen in the Texas Monthly magazine.I have 3 children, my two oldest boys are mechanical engineers and my daughter is a Theatre Arts major at Sul Ross State University. I love and enjoy mentoring online, gives me the opportunity to also do my studies for school. I plan on continuing my education to a higher level, not only to better educate myself but to maintain a strong teaching position.
