In addition to doing solo concerts ("He Put A Song In My Heart"---recently released as a CD), I also direct the Owosso-Area Community Choir and coordinate the SUMMERPraise! concert series.I'm part of the worship team at the Owosso Free Methodist Church.

It's been a blessing to contribute to the music ministry of Stronghold, a contemporary southern gospel quartet from the Howell/Fowlerville area. Two of the members, Don and Dennis Byers, are my wife, Diana's, sons, and I'm honored to be part of their family. The group has recorded five CD projects, which I've helped produce, arrange, or written songs for. My desire is that God will use them to encourage other believers in their faith walk.

I have the honor of directing about 75 singers from the Owosso area once a year, sharing a Union Thanksgiving Service for the Owosso commununity. We help jump-start the "Owosso Cares"​ food collection project for Owosso Public Schools, and we take an offering to help support a local charity; to date we've raised about $35,000 for the Salvation Army, the Homeless Coalition, and other groups.This choir group includes some incredible soloists! I'm partial to the choral arrangements of Dave Williamson and Bradley Knight. We totally enjoy the opportunity to work together and benefit our community with awesome worship and fellowship

During the summer we've been blessed to have at least five southern gospel groups present weekly Sunday night concerts at the beautiful Owosso Amphitheater. Hundreds of folks bring their lawn blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the music of such groups as the Blackwoods, the Calvarymen, Collingsworth Family, the Crist Family, the Dixie Melody Boys, Down East Boys, Down Home Horns,Forgiven, the Gospelmen, the Heartland Boys, Joyful Sounds, the Journeymen, the Pfeifers, Promise, Safe Harbor, Soul'd Out Quartet, Southern Sound, Statement of Faith, the Thurstons, and the Rick Webb Trio. I believe this has been a tremendous blessing to the community and beyond.
