Taught graduate and undergraduate classes in business analytics, MIS, business, and statistics.. Member of the committee that designed the undergraduate and graduate business intelligence and analytics management concentrations for DeVry. Developed the original course materials for BIAM 300 (Managerial Applications of Business Analytics), BIAM 500 (Applications of Business Analytics I), BIAM 510 (Applications of Business Analytics II) and BIAM 560 (Predictive Analytics) and the iLabs for BIAM 400 (Applied Business Analytics) and BIAM 570 (Modeling for Decision-Making). Education includes a PhD from the University of North Carolina (Business-Quantitative Methods), an MBA (Computer Science) and B.B.A. (Accounting) both from Texas A&M University. Held a faculty position at Baylor College of Medicine for seven years where I taught statistics, biostatistics and operations research. Also taught as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Phoenix for four years and received an outstanding faculty award two times and an area chair leadership award for the graduate e-commerce program. Business experience includes eight years as a CIO, seven years as a CFO, and ten years as a consultant providing consulting services for small companies in the areas of information technology, finance, and management.
