I’m dedicated to moving EO forward through decisive leadership and strategic decision-making.My StoryI started my entrepreneurial journey working from a folding chair and table in the basement of my family home. After one decade in the chemicals and trucking sector, I was ready to start my own venture. When I saw an opportunity to coordinate transportation and logistics for the chemical industry, I founded Stett Transportation.At first, I planned to move four loads a week (I was a young mother looking to earn some extra income). By 2010, the business had grown by 4X in revenue and headcount, by 2018 we outgrew two office spaces, and we acquired our second building. Since then, Stett Transportation has been named one of Cincinnati Business Courier’s “Best Places to Work”,​ as well as Inc. Magazine’s 5,000 fastest-growing companies in America.My Entrepreneurs’ Organization JourneyI joined the EO Cincinnati chapter in 2012. I had gotten to a point in my business where I was stuck and needed help scaling. Six months in, I got so much value from the experience that I said yes to an opportunity to become Membership Chair.I’ve never planned for any role I held in EO; I simply kept saying “yes.” I held various chapter and regional positions before eventually joining the global board, learning every step of the way.Over the years, I’ve been recognized as a mentor and role model within the global membership network - but much of the impact we’ve achieved is owed to the teams of smart, passionate entrepreneurs and staff members surrounding me. They inspire me daily.TodayI serve as Global Chair for Entrepreneurs’ Organization. Half of my time is spent traveling across the world for EO and learning more about different cultures, governments, and economies. As a lifelong learner who’s passionate about diversity and inclusion, having the opportunity to support equity in a meaningful way across the global entrepreneurial ecosystem has been a great privilege of my life.Beyond EO, I’m deeply passionate about Stett4Kids, the nonprofit I founded to help disadvantaged youth in Cincinnati pursue their ambitions.
