Advised organizations on technical accounting and financial reporting issues related to the implementation of new accounting standards for revenue and leases, including:•Identifying complex issues arising from proposed new accounting guidance, including impacts on existing systems and processes. •Developing and executing project plans for implementing new accounting standards and facilitating decision-making•Collaborating with the EY IT Consulting service line and the organization's IT department to incorporate the implementation of a new system into a consolidated project plan•Training the organizations end users on the new accounting standards and the impact of the new accounting standards on the organization's current operations.

Responsible for all financial reporting, including: •Preparation of internal and external consolidated financial statement for parent and subsidiary companies with multiple currencies, •Management of the international reporting requirements for foreign subsidiaries, including the external audit in accordance with Irish GAAP and tax compliance in accordance with Mexican GAAP.•Continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures to increase efficiencies

Responsible for the management and execution of audits of private companies, with the following focus:•Managerial experience in the construction line of service, focusing on private companies ranging in size from sub-contractors with $20 million in revenue to large general contractors with $3 billion in revenue.•Managerial experience in the technology/software and services lines of service, focusing on private companies ranging in size from development-stage entities with $0 in revenue, to multi-national entities with approximately $100 million in revenue.•Responsible for managing audit teams comprised of up to two seniors and two to three junior staff members, to ensure timely and effective planning of audit engagements, execution of efficient audit plan in accordance with US Generally Accepted Audit Standards (GAAS), and delivery of final audited financial statements.•Researched, documented and concluded on clients’ accounting treatment in accordance with the FASB Accounting Standards Codification for client transactions in the areas of revenue recognition and software revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, effective cash flow hedges, fair value measurements and disclosures, business combinations, and consolidation.
